PROUD TO BE A MEMBER OF http://www.rugbyleaguecares.org/ and http://www.walesrugb...-wales-for-2013
Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

Dragons v Sea Eagles was the kind of game that was similar to the Wigan v Warrington game on Sky on Friday night.
There was the excitement and atmosphere, the close result, but fewer mistakes and more discipline in the aussie game.
You must have been gutted by the result in the Warriors v Wolves game, BR.

When you watch the SL games you notice the rules are generally less well adhered to than in NRL.
I couldn't believe how often the ball is played by just rolling it backwards with no attempt at playing it with the foot.
One drop out in the Fri SL game must have been kicked about a metre in front of the posts.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed watching the game. It was nip and tuck with a grandstand finish.
As long as the rules were applied the same to both teams then in one sense it doesn't matter. On the other hand there are rules there for a reason. I can't see how you can enforce some and not others.
