A local band from South Kirky called the BTP folders.
A new wave outfit that knocked me sideways when I saw them circa 79-80. Some of their stuff has just been uploaded onto Yuotube.

Q. Has anyone on here got any memory of them and even more remotely, has anyone got anything by them?

The flip side of that single was called "all of a sudden"! Wrong era for you Chris but i was 18 in 78 and the whole energy and change that new wave brought to the music scene challenged the "long haired rock" culture that until then more or less had the rock scene to itself.
Then new wave came. whilst i didn't let go of rock new i embraced new wave too. Btp folders were a great local outfit that just ddint hit the big time.
Id love to get hold of some of there sessions.
Wombwell reform club 1978-82 - saw some amazing acts in there. def leppard played there!!!

Oh I've seen nine below zero so many times and wilkor is still one of THE great .
Trying to play with that action is nigh on impossible to me.
Right, off to do the new York shuffle!
