For clarification, the RFL have confirmed that unlike previous seasons, ADULT & CONCESSION Season Tickets are not valid for the Challenge Cup 3rd Round.
However, all junior season ticket holders shall be admitted free of charge upon production of a valid season ticket from the 3rd Round up to and including the Quarter Final Stage of the competition.

Sorry Pal but unless you are a junior or Swinton subsidise it themselves which is highly unlikely then it's not.Well i hope it is free as thats the reason i bought the season ticket!
On the bright side if you get through and draw Wigan at home they won't get in free either!

It could be that clubs weren't made aware of this until after season ticket advertisments went out
Let us know how you get on tomorrow

I think the club have a bit of a problem here.............the sale of goods act basically says any item sold has to be as advertised - normally applied to items sold in shops which are not as described - but equally applicable in this case to the season ticket...........so I think you find if one reminds the club of its responsibilities under the sale of goods act - they may relent on this.........I must admit I have bought a season ticket and had not thought about it until I read this thread..........

Write a letter if you feel strongly about it or look at it as making a donation to help your club improve.

Perhaps better to look upon it as getting a free away shirt and helping the Club out with their cashflow!!
BTW, I'm in Edinburgh visiting the outlaws this weekend, missing the match, it's foggy whilst you bathe in the sunshine of Leigh....oh joy of joys!!!

I'm the same as you Paul, I would buy a season ticket first then look at when I could go afterwards. It's about supporting the club and if it means you pay more per game than if you didn't have a season ticket then so be it,If my decision to buy a season ticket was based on the number of matches I knew I would definitely be able to attend in the season I'd never get one as I know that now we play in "summer" I have a lot of demands on my time such as family, hols, weekends visiting the outlaws etc. as well as watching the Lions as often as possible.

I called in the office this week and Ryan confirmed that season ticket holders are admitted to this game free.
All this cup/season ticket confusion stems from the old days when cup matches were all pay if you had a season ticket which only covered league fixtures.
