It does seem to be punitive for the ones we should be encouraging, the young ones. Why wouldnt they offer a family ticket for cup games in the same way the offer family priced season tickets?

15 quid for an adult and kids anyone? Remember most of these kids will want chips and pop and so be boosting the concession sales. What is there to lose?

All junior season ticket holders will be admitted free tomorrow and the season tickets are very reasonably priced and if I'm not wrong offer games at £1 a throw.

Maybe you should have bought your kids a Season Ticket SL? I think that ST holders also get a free Easter Egg as well, mind you they do have to actually go up and get it. BOOO!

Pugwash.

P.S. Junior Season Tickets bought at Early Bird prices = £20.

For your money you get;

4 x N.R. Cup games.
18 x League games.
1 x R.L.C.C. game at least.
Free Easter Egg.
Free Christmas Party (even if you don't have a season ticket).

Yeah typical of Hornets to rob the youngsters eh?????

The game is an home game for East Hull with a shared gate and the admission prices will have been agreed between the two clubs so you cant put all the blame on Hornets.

(There is no free adult or concession season ticket holder entry in the Carnegie Challenge Cup however, all junior season ticket holders shall be admitted free of charge upon production of a valid season ticket from Round Three up to and including Round Six the Quarter Final.)As Pugwash says Juniors can get in free if they have a season ticket pass

I think you are missing the point - you are unlikely to bring in kids by saying if you want reasonable admission prices buy a season ticket. Season tickets are one part of a marketing strategy. Another part is making it affordable and attractive for those who dont want to or cant commit to attending most games.

I understand there are folks with business expetise on the board - I hope they might consider the matter with a little more seriousness than this (acknowldeging that todays prices will have been set with agreement of Hull).

Come on Puggy - calm down and think before you type. All suggestions for how things might be improved are shot down in this way, sarcasm bordering on abuse, and advising people how they should spend their money.

Anyway, would someone consider posting how many kids attend today at 5 quid a go (not including those with the season tickets).

For those of you unhappy with the prices of admission:

I assume you know that for the price of about half a tank of fuel (in a car) you can buy into, and have a say in the running of your club. On this basis, you could alter the price of admission for the games you think are less important.

Having said that you strike me as the sort of people who will whine, and winge all day long, but would never dream of "putting up" instead of "shutting up" preferring to run off at the mouth, rather than doing anything constructive.

Those fans who have a real love for the club, and bought in to it, realise the costs involved in running the club, and perhaps not cheerfully, but understandingly pay a not unreasonable amount to watch the team they love.

As it turns out Hornets won the game too
