Assuming this information is correct it appears after the farce that was last season the Leinster finalists Carlow Crusaders (who never bothered to turn up to the national final) and North Dublin Eagles have folded as have fellow division 1 club Edenderry Boghogs, meaning Dublin City Exiles are the only surviving division 1 side. Division 2 side Kildare Dragons have also folded but the other 3 sides survived. The last 3 above named sides are new.

Hopefully the 7 team league means there will be 6 regular season games not last year's horrifically low 3 (with about a 40% forfeit rate)
