UAE won 30-26
Medway Dragons Wheelchair RL player. Leeds Rhinos, St Albans Centurions and North Hertfordshire Crusaders fan. Also follow (to a lesser extent) Catalans Dragons, London Broncos, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Jacksonville Axemen, Vrchlabi Mad Squirrels, København Black Swans and Featherstone Rovers

This person is spot on from another forum.
Rugby League fans are an immensley proud bunch. Proud because we feel we have the greatest sport on earth and the biggest unkept secret.
Rugby League is more than a traning drill for Rugby Union players. Whilst I realise that Union is firmly entrenches in the UAE as they have a million times the resources of league, we shouldnt be marketed as a way to keep fit until the real sport starts.
The only possibly reason for this approach is that its marketed in this way in the hope that Union players will play they game of League and fall in love with it. I can see where theyre coming from theres a huge risk that our proud sport won't be taken seriosuly because of this approach.
I thought we got over the mentality that League is a bastardised version of Rugby Union 80 years ago... perhaps not.
