OK, I'm too far away to appreciate the humour of our Landlords, but, doesn't he think we know this stuff already? Does he think fans are only going to attend LSV if it's an official AWAY game? Or does he just copy & paste this on everyones board?

18 quid. wow. even dick turpin wore a mask. thought season ticket holders could get into Leigh games cheaper?
£18 does sound a bit of a price hike for a match in the game's 2nd tier. But don't forget, this is a home match for Leigh and an away match for the Lions, hence why our season ticket holders will have to fork out. The situation will be reversed when it's our home match with Leigh as the 'visitors'. Simples!

The piece was posted for the information of Swinton fans, by me. For your further information, I do not work for your landlords (Leigh Sports Village) but for Leigh Centurions. We like to treat all our visitors equally, and afford them all the courtesy of providing information on visiting our games. (or for listening to radio coverage should they not wish to attend - but I presume all Swinton fans such as your good self knew about the details of how to get the radio broadcast?)
Should you wish to ignore the information, that's up to you, but I would be grateful if you could avoid the cheap sarcastic response - I'll gladly withdraw this post and leave you in the dark if you prefer - it's up to you!

Alan dont be offended . Your info is appreciated as is your effort. Forums encourage faceless criticism hiding behind pseudonyms but most of it isnt meant. I just think itd really wierd for most of us getting out head round playing away at home and it all being different. The piece was posted for the information of Swinton fans, by me. Thanks for that Mark - glad someone found it of interest. I appreciate that it will seem odd, being the visitors. (How do you think we'll feel, 'visting' Swinton?) I just can't believe that providing information, including free radio coverage, would annoy someone so much - especially considering the absolute lack of information that's been forthcoming from the other direction! (i.e. the Swinton club, for the match day magazine)

Thanks for the info Alan.
Obviously we need to know this info as the way Leigh organise their match days could be different to the way Swinton organise ours even though were both playing at the same venue this year.
Some people just like to have a moan!!
See you Friday.

Thanks for the thumbs up Paul.I was ready to withdraw the post as,to be honest at times it seems hard work, doing lots for nowt and then getting moaned at, by 'invisible keyboard warriors'!
It could be our best 'gate' of the season - and then yours when we 'travel' to Swinton!

I think we have something like 7 back-to-back games at the LSV and the arrangements are different for the Leigh "away" game. I for one won't be able to attend so the radio coverage will be greatly appreciated, cheers Alan.

Hi all, I'm part of the broadcasting team and I can't wait for the game on Friday especially after your cracking win today.
I don't know whether you're aware but we've been broadcasting all our home games this season. We've done a few away games too(Salford and Sheffield)but because we depend on a decent internet connection (and electricity)we probably won't do many more, we will however make an exception when we play you away.
We have listeners from as far away as Canada and the USA to Australia and New Zealand as well as up and down the country and our far flung fans love it.
I know those of you who can, will make it to the game but for those who can't I hope you sit back, tune in and enjoy the show.
