Adios part-timer. That's another Rovers game you'll have to see on DVD rather than in the flesh all for the sake of having a good, well deserved holiday!

Good start for me. I think the Bunnies are a big improvement thanks to Maguire. It will take time but they look more solid than ever before.

Just three tipsters go into Day 2 with 2/2: Barney, LRL and RF
Doggies seemed to have that game in the bag - trouble was there was too much time left to play out and the Rabbitohs got stronger and stronger as the game went on.

When they switched Dave Taylor over to the other side of the attack Souths looked dangerous. That Bulldogs side have some good footy in them but when they loose their way in a game like that it's a bit worrying. Barba was hardly ever in it today.

Gadzooks and odds bodkins who should take to the field today but Corey Parker remarkably mended after such a short time - and we were told he'd be out for five or six weeks minimum!
Tigers came back at the end but it was small consolation on a day they found Broncos just too much of a handful all round - again.

After last week I was put off Raiders big time. I haven't seen as much of Warriors as other teams due to early season coverage choices here.. It looks like they have a problem - what is it? I didn't see the Rai/War game. Were Raiders vastly improved over last week, or was it Warriors away day blues?

It's one of the low scoring weeks again in NRL 2012. Only in two out of the five completed rounds so far has the points total crept over the 300 mark (327 and 333). With just 228 points altogether so far this round after seven games played, there's going to have to be a feast of scoring in the Manly v Penrith game to get the total anywhere near 300, let alone above it.
