Also looking forward to seeing how the new Moto3 class pans out. With experience, Maverick Vinales will be even better than he was in his fantastic debut season.

Oh well - maybe next round.
Good performance by Crutchlow though, and I think Stefan Bradl will improve as the season goes on.Stoner already whingeing after just one race - is this a record?

Teriffic action over the weekend, helped by the unpredictable weather. A 4th place for Cal Crutchlow, but what sticks in the memory is Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race "I got it, I got it, I got it, I... oops!"

Was hoping for a Spanish 1 2 and 3 for Cal but Stoner managed to take the podium.

Admittedly in unusually wet conditions, but that Ducati seemed to handle it well.
An absolute crashfest in the Moto2 and Moto3. Hopefully no-one too badly hurt.

Let's hear it for Britain's MotoGP racer Cal Crutchlow.
He crashed on Saturday, badly spraining (at the very least) his ankle. The doctors told him not to race, so he checked out of hospital, returned to Silverstone and told the race officials some porkies about his state of health.
He started from the back of the grid and finished 6th. Top man!

Cal has a dislocated ankle also broken some bones, he is a mad man. I wonder if the boot holds everything in place?
Saw him get off the bike after the race, unable to walk on it.
Expect him to race as Assen as well.

That's what worries me; apart from Stoner, that bike's been a career albatross for everyone else who's ridden it. I know Cal wants a factory ride, but is the Duke really the answer?
In other news, Honda are considering promoting Marc Marquez from Moto2, to the vacant seat left by Stoner. He's really pretty quick, but not a popular figure amongst his peers.

I'd just like to see Bradley on a competitive bike next year, even if he stays in Moto2. He's improving his performances, but started this season with so much development work to do, he was always handicapped.

Valentino Rossi returns to Yamaha on a 2 year deal. Pretty much guarantees that Cal will be wrestling with the Ducati next season.
