Another behind the sofa game this for me, if you're a Wakey fan. Wigan too good all over the park for Agar's men. (Apologies to Wakey fans but it's such a relief calling another team "Agar's men").

Wigan 48 Wakey 14.

very easy for wigan today hardly broke a sweat, wakey tried hard but lacked ideas, i liked the look of gelling for wigan and logan tomkins put in a good 60min stint.

good stuff i am expecting a cracker next game at hull pity it's not on the box.

You seem to have missed the "if you're a Wakey fan" bit.

Unfortunately the game clashes with my Cornwall break otherwise I would be more than willing to take advantage of the hospitality that the good folks of Hull offer.

I would recommend though that if anyone from the board is going over to Hull for the game they try and meet up with O.F. and his merry bunch, good company (if slightly off the wall).

I enjoyed this. Given the weather, its being the second game of the week end, and after Friday's high, this could have been a tough game. Trinity looked alright from where I was sitting. They have some good players, and I can see how they cause some damage when they click. They had the same problem as Saints, in not getting near Wigan's line. While they have some good schemers, they got to the 4th and 5th tackle in their own half so often it was bound to be a long road for them.
What has pleasantly surprised me is the way in which Wane's 3 biggest changes all seem to be coming off. The players back themselves in attack more than under Madge, we have something like 16 first grade standard forwards, all of whom (except Fielden) have played in winning teams already this year, plus we don't have the same gap between highs and lows during games any more. It would have been nice to have another play maker, but at least he has a discernible plan.
