If you believe the League Weekly paper today (which is very difficult when you see which
Knights player they gave 8 out of 10 to yesterday...), the Green & Pearce dual reg's will be
cancelled due them not been available & we are looking to bring 2 more in to replace them,
but nothing will happen until after the Cup game.

Fair play, the Knights have enough forwards and as you say they've not be available for the majority of games, unlike the two lads from Warrington.
Will be interesting to see what positions Coach Thorman believes need strengthening.

Get rid of duel reg players. The club dont know if they will be available one week to the next and IMO can't do team morale any good.

Dont think you can knock the Warrington lads but the players from Hulls been a waste of time just like last year with the Cas lads.

Thorman mentioned this as a possibility during interview on Radio York before game on Sunday, said he had spoken to Shaun McRae at Hull FC about it.

Press today - supposedly in talks to get Jordan Thompson & John Davies
back from Cas, both played against St Helens on Monday in Super League
think mainly due to them having 7 out injured.
Davies would be an outstanding addition, and although Thompson was disapointing
last year, now has a years more experience & a lot of SL games behind him, and
if you see the Cas other message board, they really rate him, so would more than
do for me.

Got the impression Thompson thought he was too good to be at York last season , just never looked interested at all

Will fit in with some of the players already at the club
Thompson can cover quite a few posistions, centre, second row and full back, so might be worth a punt. As for Davies, he's another 110%, would be a good DR signing.

Have to agree, he would have to show a lot more than we got from him last term !

Seems some Cas fans think he should be in their 1st team now Andy,
also understand the previous 'comment' wouldn't be a issue this time round....

Press today, sounds like dual-reg or loan could be used for a half back,
someone I had forgotten about to be honest - Lee Williams - has not been
seen for 3 weeks & has probably left the club.

Hopefully Ben Johnson, young half back from Cas, York born ex-Acorn lad
signing today, John Davies coming will depend on what happens with Chris Green.

Same here, just the way it reads in the papers today suggests that he may still be available
for us, but overall think when we get Kingy back we are ok for props & with John Davies we
might get more games out of him, if he comes, straight in for me alongside Joe H in the 2nd row.
