Bought a programme today for £2.50. Really disappointed , then annoyed, then dumfounded as to why the'programme' did not have either of the teams in??. That surely is one of the main reasons for the programme.Could someone please tell me why no teams??. Never ever had this before anywhere.
WHERE DO YOU WANT ME TO SWIPE THIS?

Sorry not having last weeks teams in the programme has upset you so much.
The club took the decision not to put team line ups from the week before which 9 times out of 10 are totally different to the teams on the day of the programme. Instead we decided to print out and give out free team sheets to anyone who wanted them of the actual teams for the game in question, they are available from the club office once the teams are handed in, make sure to get yours in 2 weeks time!

I'm a Batley speccie, if thats the case why didn't your prog sellers tell people they were available.Reason, i feel, is you wouldn't have sold as many progs and prob run out of team sheets. I do not accept your reason for not putting them in as it is very simple to put the SQUADS in, 2 columns, with a space to note the players playing when the tannoy man gives the teams out.Thats what Batley and others do . SIMPLES.

Sorry to hear you don't accept the clubs reasons, but that's just the way it is. SIMPLES

AGREE WITH WHAT BLACKPOOL SAYS -- the Hunslet team was changed 1 hour before kick off. Hunslet make a good job of their programme instead of filling it with useless information like team squads.
However all is not lost - you can still bid for it on e-bay at £0.95 plus postage and it includes the official team sheet.

Yes, but as Colinb said, if you had put the squad in, it would not have mattered who was injured. It would also be great if the information you said, re teamsheets was somehow made public. I refuse to but programmes away now, after feeling well and truly ripped off at Keighley. Turns out it was a good decision.

When we played Halifax they just printed teams from the week before, but i must admit that i prefer to see full squads printed in programme with room to write numbers in for who's playing.

Are we saying then you would rather pay £2.50 and get last weeks teams in the programme rather than paying £2.50 having no team in the programme and having a FREE temsheet with this weeks ACTUAL lineups?
So do people want the squads in just to mark down who is playing with a pencil? if so, we need to move with the times, the team sheet, does that for you, and we print it out, and we give them out for FREE, no more need for pencils, rubbers, sharpners etc the futures bright, the future is the FREE team sheet

Yes! If you are having a free team sheet, it would have been good, as a visiting supporter to have known that and to have had access to them. How about putting them at the turnstile so they are obvious and available?

Thank you for that. Could you tell me where the club office is? And from what time? Will it be from 2.30?

Directly behind the main reception, they tend to get printed straight after both teams have handed in their lineups to the ref, so from 2:15 on wards.
New rule though im putting in place, you must have bought a programme to have a free teamsheet

Is the Hunslet club a supporter's trust or a fascist dictatorship? Anyway, could you take a leaf out of the Leigh club and publicise what is going to be in the £2.50 programme so I can make a considered decision before I elect to but one (or not, as the case may be)

Ok then, next time you go to the Grand, or The Alhambra, you'd be happy to buy a programme and not find the name of any cast members??.
And I think you are intentionally missing the point here. You can print the squad of both teams without any issues. I think you will find across the championship clubs you are in the minority when it comes to this issue. As teams or squads are printed ,therefore it can't be difficult. And by the tone of your replies I think you know that.

not quite the same, how many theatre productions wait until 45 minutes before to decide who'll perform?
i personally don't want a squad list in the programme, i know who plays for hunslet already, i would rather see who is actually playing, but that's just me

So the fact the Hunslet team squad was printed on the middle 2 pages wasn't filling it, and I quote from above " useless information like team squads"

it also has player sponsors on it, so i'd say that isn't useless info, certainly not for those spending their hard earned to sponsor a player

Agree, and please don't forget I was only quoting Frisky Filly, who said it was useless info. Gonna get shot down again I reckon. Ah well.Fire away.it also has player sponsors on it, so i'd say that isn't useless info, certainly not for those spending their hard earned to sponsor a player

haha not trying to shoot anyone down, just all seems a bit pedantic, fair enough you think there should be a squad list, we've explained why there isn't
