*******
WELCOME *******

to this our NRL Round 8 tipping competition.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter.
Between now and the start of the round there is a representative weekend of matches so we've more time than usual to consider our options.
Posted Image

Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round
The first game this round is on Wednesday 25th April. The round then stretches to the following Monday.

ROUND 8 QUESTIONS:

*Poll Competition:
Which game will produce the lowest points total in NRL Round 8? That's both teams' scores added together
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.
The poll is anonymous so we can't give you credit unless it is in your predictions post.

Now for the main event of the week:

*Match Tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 8 2012

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R8?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Away Win Competition:

How many AWAY wins will there be in NRL R8 2012?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page.
The best of luck to everyone.
Enjoy your Rugby League!

The round is up and running with the ANZAC Day fixtures having been played.
I saw the Storm v Warriors game which was preceded by some dignified ceremony and national anthems.

The other Wednesday game saw a thriller at the Allianz Stadium in the Dragons v Roosters clash.
I'll leave it to anybody who saw the game to comment on the action and outcome in this one.

By the way you may notice a slight delay on the posting of the summary statistics and awards this round as I will be awol for a few days.
Having said that it may only be a delay of hours, a day at most.
