No it Doesn't!!!!

9.43 is the Sunday time from Swinton to Manchester Victoria, from where it ain't a train...it's a BUS!!!

Northern's service from Vic to Huddersfield are 0817, 0917, 1043 then every hour until 2043,on Sunday's, but they are all buses.

TPE trains are also leaving from Victoria on Sundays, but apart from the first two in the morning, they ain't stopping at Huddersfield.

Engineering Work at Stalyvegas being the reason

If the game is Friday or Saturday, the trains are as normal, the above only applying on Sundays.

Sounds like the best bet would be a supporters' coach again. Saves the hassle of getting two buses!

There is a bus service, the 184, which runs between Manchester Piccadilly Gardens (Oldham Street I think) and Huddersfield bus station which leaves on the Sunday at 0828 (arrive 1008), 1018 (arrive 1203) and 1218 (arrive 1403).

The return journey has only one bus for anyone seeing the match. It leaves Huddersfield bus station at 1835, arriving back in Manchester at 2015. The one before leave two hours earlier at 1635, meaning it really can't be done, unless you leave the ground during the second half at some point.

As to how you get to the ground by bus etc from Hudderfield town centre, I've not got the foggiest.

Its a shame the museum at The George Hotel isnt open as any supporters coach could have arrived early to take in the museum or sample a few of the local hostelries.

Believe the museum is due to reopen this weekend. Tony
