When is the next meeting scheduled.

The meeting was held for the yorkshire players at Oulton on the 16th April but the NCL are only letting the guilty players clubs know what ban their player has got. I think this is stupid idea and I can't see the thinking behind it, I feel it can only be so clubs cannot compare lenths of suspensions. I think it will be up for debate at the next delegates meeting.

I'm on the Discipline panel, and I'm not aware that they're not circulating the discipline results out to all the clubs. They should do. It might be an administrative oversight and possibly our new Administrator isn't aware that that's what normally happens.

The NCL discipline panel are trying a new system just now, and that is so players aren't waiting for weeks to have their case heard. It is also logical that if the majority of the personals are in Yorkshire, then the cases will be heard in Yorkshire -as they will be in Lancashire if the majority are Lancashire/Cumbria based players.

I don't think it's always easy to compare the lengths of bans some players have been given for, seemingly, the same offence. For example, we all know that "punching" can range from one extreme to another. As other clubs aren't privi to the actual dismissal reports, it's down to the discipline panel on the night to decide how many matches (if any) a player should get. Past records are also taken into consideration too. So, two people who have been dismissed for punching may well get different lengths of bans.

Are we not to know what suspensions are being handed out. Surely it is beneficial to know if a player is banned and for how long. How do you stop players playing when banned?
