No he's not ...
He's is in reality a Kiwi.
He has Kiwi parents, he's played rep RL for New Zealand Juniors and Maori. Up until recently he was in the Kiwi camp. He's been an active Kiwi with Kiwi commitments.
He's playing by the rules as the rules are. So he can make this a career decision that could pay off handsomely.
Is it right?

The rules are a farce, for me once a player reaches 18 they (if they qualify for more than one nation) should be asked to commit to a nation, no going back and never able to change. This thread will end up with Aussies calling Brits racist.
"surely they've got to try somthing different now, maybe the little chip over the top?2

The rules are a farce. BUT as a Kiwi I would only want a player in the team dedicated to the Kiwis. If someone wants to chase the SOO dollars that is their choice and money may rule over nationality. Goodbye and Good Luck!

New Zealand is losing out on its Kiwi born players in a fairly regular way.
Lama Tasi and Sam Kasiano are two others who have chosen to be eligible for Qld.
So far we know that Jason Taumalolo and Josh Papalii have said no to Meninga and Origin.
OK some of the blokes changing their allegiance have largely grown up in Australia, and that will no doubt have been a big influence, that and the chance of Origin, maybe kudos and the slight attraction of the various rewards.
