What's the consensus for Sunday?

I'm making my annual pilgrimage to see the Lions, this time with my wife, and am hoping for a competitive match!

See you all Sunday!

The play-off win at POR in 2006 is also to be noted. An awesome performance that day, along with a controversial try from Andy Saywell!

The support throughout that run was brilliant as well, every game we had a big following and had some really good atmoshperes going, especially at Fev and Celtic. Let's hope for the same outcome tomorrow.

Great performance from you lot today you did'nt deserve to lose. Last week took alot out of us and it showed today and with the wigan game comeing up are minds were else where i think but not takeing anything away from your lads you were the best team today and good luck for the rest of the season from a capper i doubt you will need it though after that great performance today. Also you will be very hard to beat at your place this year if you play like that every week

Can you lend Raynor to all our opponents so we can watch him admire the ball bouncing every week as we score?

In all seriousness cheers for your comments,I think we surprised Fev with how well we played.

And I would like to remind all the fev fans that we play the top team in super league next weekend so that excuse of playing Wigan has no validity to me.

Gutted,we didn't deserve to loose that game in those circumstances. We took the game to Fev apart from in a ten minute spell. Really proud of the lads and every week we are progressing into a championship team. Kev Penny's tackle just before half time was worth comming to see and it seems like he is now focused on life with the Lions. Well done lads and a really good game to be at.

Plus his similar try saver on Raynor earlier on...he couldnt tackle him for his tries, Raynor was too far off side to catch.

Very unlucky today - just a couple of wrong decisions where we missed try scoring opportunities in 2nd half and of course the final Fev try was at least 2 yds ( sorry to use old measures) off side. I think the team is getting better with each match...........our centres were strong today and we mixed it up fairly well in the pack, Smithy worked hard and did an awful lot of tackling and Watson's kicking game was good. Only dissappointment was Mills who for me seems to lack confidence...........certainly he is capable of much more.

Gutted after such a fantastic game to come out the losers! We really didn't deserve that!
Penny was awesome. Everyone played their hearts out.
We may not have come away with many points this season but we have played some great rugby. Proud to be a Swinton fan!

Swinton didn't deserve to lose but to highlight one Fev try is unfair; The ref was making up his own rules like he does every time I see him; Swintons first try was an obvious knock on; But you knocked Fev out of their stride and you have a very good side there;

you played well. You were well up for it. Swinton looked more of a team and were most unlucky to lose. You will be gutted as I would be if we'd lost a game like that.

ps - hope you can find a 'home' in swinton soon. Existing on crowds of 866 which incl a good number of away fans makes swinton's job so hard. Good luck folks.

Thought we were very unlucky today and cant help but feel that with a competent linesman we would have won the game. Fev clearly wernt firing on all cylinders though. Our forwards were alot better today although they still wernt as strong as the opposing pack. Riley looked a handful and our second-rowers played out of their skin as usual. My MOM was Higson who I think terrorised that flank. Penny also seems to have made that shirt his own, he did everything expected of him and more, I was especially surprised/amazed by his two awesome try saving tackles.

Our tactical kicking was awesome, my only problem being why oh why did we not try the chip-over in the dying minutes!? We had 2 opportunities and yet chose to find touch and gift them possession. Apart from that we really mixed it up which caused them problems and was good to watch. If we can play with that sort of creativity, effort and discipline we will be a very very tough team to beat this year. However, we cant stop now, we need to keep pushing to improve.
Im only smiling because `no-one`'s found the bodies yet.
