Couldnt possibly bring myself to give money to the Dogs, even if it meant a couple of quid for the Rams, but full marks for intiative. My guess is we wouldnt have done the same.http://www.batleybulldogs.co.uk/index.php/latest-news/144-two-special-offers-for-broncos
I have a better idea for raising money for the Rams....Make sure the 300 people that go through the under 16 or concession turnstile each home game pay the full entrance fee. Every home game, as I queue to get in, I am amazed at how many speccies, both home an away are under 16, over 65 or are students. I do believe I saw one person entering the "adult" turnstile and paying the full fare on Sunday, but I had had a pint and might be mistaken.
I am 48 now so looking at those queuing to get in the concession turnstile reckon another year and I will qualify as a pensioner too.....

Maybe concessionaries should have to present some form of ID - or in BSJ's case his ration book.Couldnt possibly bring myself to give money to the Dogs, even if it meant a couple of quid for the Rams, but full marks for intiative. My guess is we wouldnt have done the same.

True GOR. Just like you I would have had a ration book, now sadly lost. Also like you I have a season ticket and actually use it.
For those who want to benefit the club but can't make the Batley match how about buying a programme or even a half-time draw ticket - when the club get around to buying some that is.

So you want Rams fans to give between £8-13 to the bulldogs on the off-chance that you might send £2 to the Rams.
Let me think about then ...................................................................................................... er no thanks.

Or we could stay at home, save our money have a couple of pints, buy a program and a burger at our next home game,
Batley get nothing from my wallet and the Rams still gain financially win win situation

They have had £15 from me this season I was expecting it being £13 and it took my pie money. An hungry Townie in the stands that good Friday.

I think some Dewsbury fans need to stop for a moment.
This could work two ways - Firstly if you love rugby league and just so happen to support Dewsbury then it's a good deal. You get your fix, the club gets a donation.
Secondly if you can't stand Batley then you get to see them get annihilated and the club gets a donation...
Personally I'm a little indifferent, my son plays for Batley Juniors and the club behind the scenes is nothing short of fantastic, he even gets a free season ticket for Batley games.
My issue is that Batley Bulldogs are just so boring to watch I don't think I could stretch to paying the admission for 80 minutes kip.

Im not really sure how topping up batleys coffers will benefit the rams?
Also, Batley v London sounds like one of the dullest games you will see this season, so even diehard fans will find the game unpallatable as a neutral (in my opinion of course)
Better to spend the £15 behind the bar or in the club shop at the next rams game me thinks.

Might be. But I bet it won't be as one-sided a debacle as their game in the last round.Batley v London sounds like one of the dullest games you will see this season.
