York City Knights U18’s begin their season tonight (26th April 2012) against Oldham, 8pm kick off at the Huntington Stadium. The squad have been training hard since January and Head Coach James Ford thinks that the Knights have a number of outstanding young players in their ranks,

“The lads have been excellent in training and myself and all the other coaches are excited to see them in action. We have some talented young players at the club and I urge the supporters to come along on Thursday and see the team in action”.

The three members of the squad who have played in the Knights Reserve team this season, Ash Haynes, Alex Hutchinson and Luke Tomlinson will all feature in a strong Knights team that will be looking to open the season with a good performance.

Entry to the match is free for Knights season ticket holders on production of their 2012 Season Ticket booklets, otherwise admission is £4 for Adults and £1 for Under 16’s. The ground can be accessed via Bar 13 through main reception.

A win in a Knights shirt is a win in a Knights shirt. Winning.
