They had been hard leading up to April and I expect them to be hard again by the end of May. it doesn't take long to dry out.

Our ground has a small puddle in one corner but is still playable, we installed a dry well in that area before the winter season started.

Considering June, July and August see fair consistent rainfall, they'll be wet again not long after May! Not that it actually matters.

Good for you, our club voted to the man for winter after seven seasons in the summer and thirty five in the winter so I suppose it's everyone to their own.

Is that it? That's only 12yrs more than my own personal experience. You Yorkshire folk are backward!

Good luck to the club and hope the ground improvements go well.

12 years you will never catch up thou  and maybe us Yorkshire folk (Pennine is the best run league we have been involved with and that includes; Yorkshire, Hull, Yorkshire sunday & RLC) can't be bought so easily by the RFL deliberately circulated propaganda aimed to influence attitudes against BARLA.
