Congratulations to millom on a good win against us last night. Close game in the 1st half think 14 - 4 at half time millom then ran away with it in the 2nd half scoring at regular intervals 48 - 14 full time score

Amazing that. does that mean Ulverston actually fielded a genuine A team? Funny now 1st team season started again, there struggling. personally think it's terrible that you as a club cast your genuine A team lads aside because your so desperate to win a trophy, then expect them to turn out when it suits.

Yeah good one.......The question you need to ask is how come Millom did so well? Maybe they have no 1st team game this weekend.
Millom don't play 1st teamers in the A team though do they ?
The 1st team season started last week but Ulverston still did a job on Walney so your argument holds absolutely no water whatsoever. No A team player was cast aside EVER this season at the expense of what you categorise as a "1st teamer"
FWIW Millom (and a number of other teams) failed to raise a team to travel to Ulverston when their 1st team had a game.....funny that!

Gary, Millom didnt fail to raise a team to go to Ulverston the problem was we had 4 sixteen year olds in the team and the ref said he wouldnt ref it. No A teamer was cast aside and you still did a job over walney, maybe thats because most off the lads play for both your 1st and A team , poor when lads are having to play two games in a weekend.Yeah good one.......The question you need to ask is how come Millom did so well? Millom played 2 first choice 1st teamers who play most weeks and two who sometimes sub for the 1st team (none off these lads were in the 1st team squad in pre season and were A teamers this season).
If yous are strugging like you say you are to get two teams out maybe you should make a come back,if its possible to get shorts big enough.

1. At what point did I say Ulverston were struggling to get 2 sides ? Every body who comes on here always has an elaborate excuse for not fulfilling fixtures instead of just admitting to a lack of players. If you had to play 4x16yr olds then you were struggling to make up 2 teams in order to fulfill the fixture. It is as simple as that.
2. Having seen how tight that Ulverston kit is there is absolutely no way I am making a comeback (despite how much my 7yr old wants me to)
The whole "they had 1st teamers in" think pi**es me off TBH and I mentioned it tongue in cheek because of the amount of times it gets mentioned on here. Every thread has a mention of it and if people wish the B&D to be a 2nd rate league full of past it slow coaches then so be it. I'm sure the younger ones would rather test themselves week after week against good sides and play in a tough league. There should be a natural promotion & demotion of under performing players throughout any club and NOBODY should be referred to as a full time 1st teamer. What message does that send to the 16yr olds wanting to play 1st team. If you are playing well you are picked to play 1st team if not you play A team. Most teams have top quality A teamers who simply choose not to travel with the 1st team due to work etc which can only make the B&D stronger.
FYI the players who played 2 games last weekend (and will do so this weekend) have chosen to. Some, after last week, have realised how hard it can be and have chosen not to. Of course no other teams in the B&D are struggling for numbers are they - That is simply Ulverston only

the lad who got mom last night was one of the 16 year olds in question are you telling me he is only in the team coz we were struggling for a side !!! he ripped your side to bits in the harry warman and in the top 4 if thats struggling for a side then all i can say is i hope we struggle more often ....clown

Your player has stated that a fixture was not fulfilled due to having to play 4 16yr olds not me. Didn't Ulverston win the Harry Warman ? Don't recall any Millom player tearing Ulverston apart in that final, infact it was an Ulverston U18 who did the tearing apart and quite rightly won MoM......clown
FWIW Millom were deserved winners of the game last night and your No6 was the major difference. However I have no problem with the MoM going to the lad it did as he worked hard all game and at that age he is one for the future - I wouldn't say he tore Ulverston apart though.

Brilliant....you must be at least 8yrs old to have conjoured that up. It's good to see a teams class shine through when they win. Not only do you lose badly you win terribly! You must have watched a different game - Your 6 ran the show !
Nice of you to turn up though.
