queens beat siddal at siddal national cup semi
IS THE NCL ALL THAT?
Yes. Because its not all about just results its about the way a club is run as whole and how they conduct themselves. Nice to have you back Ray youve been quiet since the last time Queens were winning the national cup

the last time we won the national cup was not that long ago neither, unlike most of your NCL CLUBS
i think all people at the game will agree Queens conducted themselves very well today as did siddal no sin bins , no bust ups nothing just hard rugby, unfortunately for Siddal they seemed a little surprised at Queens ability to both paly good rugby mixed with superb aggresive defence.
robin wilkes for queens was outstanding at 13, along with browney at prop who siddal insited on trying to tackle him up top, Siddal could not match queens and could not offer any change of tactics to influence the game. Basically a pub team dominated a leading NCL team
happy days blackers it is

It will be a great day in Blackpool pity that the national cup hasnt been what it has in the past so hopefully this year is a blip and next year will find a place in the calender for all teams to take part.
I am sure that all of the lads who knock there pans in for Queens would be delighted of your description of them as a pub team but I suppose it helps you exagerate your point!

Congratulations to Queens from a genuine fan of amateur Rugby Legue. If you can beat Sidddal at their place good luck to you.
Queens are ran from a pub, do not have their own ground or the riches teams such as siddal have, and still reach 2 national cups in 3 years, a great achievement
i realise playing teams such as siddal every week would be a bigger challenge than cup games, but to lift as when they need to is all credit to Queens.

Maybe the RFL who now control the NCL from premier to division three (yes division three which they have added with stealth under the clubs noses without a vote) should make a date in their calendar to fit the National Cup in.It will be a great day in Blackpool pity that the national cup hasnt been what it has in the past so hopefully this year is a blip and next year will find a place in the calender for all teams to take part.

Don't beat yourself up, the top 5 or 6 in the Pennine are all very good sides that would be competitive in the NCL & there are a few more moving up the divisions like Thornhill.Queens are ran from a pub, do not have their own ground or the riches teams such as siddal have, and still reach 2 national cups in 3 years, a great achievement

If BARLA want to either move the National Cup to summer I'm sure the RFL would find a place. If it got put entirely in the off season of summer the NCL would have no reason to oppose it. Otherwise it should focus on being the national cup of BARLA not for everyone.Maybe the RFL who now control the NCL from premier to division three (yes division three which they have added with stealth under the clubs noses without a vote) should make a date in their calendar to fit the National Cup in.
Division 3 is NCL of sorts but no promotion and it's closing at the end of the season to be replaced by a legitimate division 3 (under NCL and full criteria) and perhaps a Conference South. So just a one season quirk.

It is a grey area because the NCL will back the RFL agenda when it suits their agenda but not when it contradicts it. The RFL wanted to merge Championship 1 with the NCL and regionalise the lower divisions but backed off under opposition. Expansion has long been the NCL's aim but on their terms thus Conference 3 is a grey area when the RFL would have preferred it to just be accepted. The NCL will tolerate it's presence for one year because it contains clubs they want to include in an expansion next year that otherwise would have no league.Black or White no Grey areas please, people only want the truth not a hidden agenda
The best way to interpret it is that in theory division 3 is part of the NCL but in practice it isn't.

Edited for accuracyThe best way to interpret it is that in theory division 3 is NOT part of the NCL and in practice it isn't.
I've noticed you fill the gaps in your knowledge with well-constructed theoretical fantasies..

It's name has NCL in it and it's on the NCL website, but you're right, the clubs are not members of the league.

Any league called National Conference League division 3 is in theory part of the National Conference League otherwise it wouldn't be called that. The website lists the clubs and tables with no distinction.Edited for accuracy

In reality it is as much a part of the National Conference League as National League 3 was a part of the National Leagues (ie only nominally)

The other big thing is also that none of the clubs in division 3 have any voting rights on how the NCL is run. It's name has NCL in it and it's on the NCL website, but you're right, the clubs are not members of the league.

If they are nominally part of the NCL, why are they not in the NCL challenge cup?In reality it is as much a part of the National Conference League as National League 3 was a part of the National Leagues (ie only nominally)
