A real toughie against canny opponents which will be a proper measure of whatever progress we have made this year. This will be a match that will surely be won amongst the forwards and our dual-reg signings may play a big part, if allowed to do so. There won't be too much fancy-dan stuff on Sunday given the ground conditions.

Rams 14- 22 Cougars is my prediction.

Att 845

Whether we have half-time draw tickets or not I won't win this weekend as I shall be enjoying the rain elsewhere for a change.
Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

Can't see us getting anything from this game. Could be a massive score against. 12-38

Why so negative

You all know we are concentrating on the league

Rams 34 Coooogars 26
att 1320

no halftime draw tickets on sale in the Southstand, tickets available in the posh seats, winner Mr J. Addy

Just a thought, our lass was at B####y last Sunday, they were giving tickets out with predictions on, i.e home team winning 8:6 at halftime first scorer home shirt 2 away scorer shirt 5, the prize was £ 130
Couldn`t we do something along the same lines, and charge £1 a go, simmilar to a domino card idea
seems like a good idea to me

Think we could just sneak this 20-18. We need to get off to a good start.

as BSJ states this game should give us an idea of where we sit in the pecking order. Reckon we could do well if we can get off to the same sort of start that we had against Swinton and York, but suspect Keighley have done their homework and a bonus point is the maximun we can take from this game.

If it isn't a rookie Rams side at all then they will win 18-14.

I go every match in the mindset that we will WIN its why I follow and support the team. If we don't oh well theres the next match to look forward to.

I dont have a preset mindset. I look at who we are playing, have a think about how we have been playing of late and then make my predictions. Strangly I am right more than I am wrong. I think its called realism. To be frank it is dull and as you will all have worked out I am a pretty misearble character, but at least it means I am disappointed less often than you optimists....Although I rarely guess the score on here, this year I thought we would do York and thought we had a sniff at Swinton. I then posted that we might get a bonus point at Batley and against Fev, so on current form we should be good for my predicted bonus point against Keighley.... and when if I am proved wrong and we win its an extra bonus you optimists dont get.

I must have gone to the same school as you Nick. I've always found that the optimists who are proved wrong, suffer infinitely more than we "glass half empty'ers" who are proved right. We also tend to recover from the bitter pill of defeat more quickly than our optimistic friends - in my case, usually as long as it takes me to open a bottle. Also I believe pessimists enjoy that moment of victory far more than our optimistic counterparts, simply because we didn't expect to win in the first place. Incidentally DTID, dont mistake pessimism for apathy, just because we don't necessarily expect to win every match, doesn't mean we don't care, or that we don't get behind the lads on the day.

Fine DTID - hammered to the tune of eighty odd points by a side run mighty close by the dogs, followed by a limp win against Hunslet, and this week we are playing a side who have recruited some top class SL players, and could be top four material this time IMO. Please, please, please, give me some grounds for being positive.

I class myself as a realist DTID. I treat a forecast as a prediction of what I expect to happen based upon the information available to me. If you prefer to base it upon what you hope will happen then that is up to you, but don't go criticising others for simply offering their honest, unblinkered opinions.
Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

Here's another realist. We all want our team to win DTID, but sometimes we have to face reality and it may well be today. It seems we may have a new injury worry in that the hard working Ben Jones may be missing. With that in mind, I think the score will be:

Dewsbury 12 - 22 Keighley

Att: 909

I am hoping this will be a cracking game, even with Mr. R. officiating.
Legs, Dews, Legs, 'cos Wigan do!

Fantastic performance by the lads ,we had no pens given to us in the 2nd half, and the two line boys didn't have a clue most of the game. Its a shame we can't keep Hood a little longer then we can.

Very, very, very, very happy to have my prediction proved wrong and my last sentence (above) proved right. Think keighley were as good as I thought going forward, but boy did we show their defence up! Four cracking tries. Difficult to single anyone out today, so I won't....but what about our line defence today? Whatever we think of WJ he has sorted that out from last year.
