they went to slow the momentum of the tackle down, each grabbing a leg. The player when realising the risk involve let go and the opponent then cartwheels over. The player apologised to his opponent and says that there was no intent to injure, it was purely an accident.



How can this be a 2 match ban for Dane and Alex, oh and £50 apiece

because the severity of the tackle deserves the punishment!!!! Simple as that. The likelihood of a serious injury caused by a tackle like that is very high and it's only good luck Korkidas wasn't injured!
Stop comparing it with how you percieve others getting off and judge it by what you see on film. It was a dire tackle that needed punishing and that's exactly what happened. Whether Chase got off lightly is an entirely different argument. The Eagles pair got collared for a bad un and have been treated fairly it would seem.
