Good afternoon All,

Just an informal introduction to the forum really.

Coventry Warriors have been eagerly anticipating season 2012,
as this year they will be a club in their own right, with the Bears blessing.
Formed last year as a development club for the Coventry Bears - Coventry Warriors will be looking forward to getting
their teeth stuck into the Midlands Merit League. Coventry Warriors, with a major kit sponsorship deal will again be playing
at Copsewood RFC and will be looking to develop and nurture raw league talent in the north-west region of the City, all whilst still working closely
with the Coventry Bears.

From a personal perspective, having the Bears, Bears A, Coventry Uni,Coventry Dragons and The Warriors its proving the sport of rugby league is growing rapidly and giving lots of lads thje opportunity to participate in Coventry.

Training has begun on Wednesday nights at Copsewood RFC 7.00pm - the Warriors - welcome all players, including ones that just wish to keep fit over the summer. We also offer the option of indoor training on mondays

registration is this Friday 04/05/2012

Many thanks Geordie ,

It would seem that natural progression will be towards CC1 and can only benefit the community. a great deal of hard work has been put in
by Alan & co - its richly deserved!

With Coventry City Football club sinking quicker than the titanic, the people of coventry will want to see a team performing well!
(essentially stealing the neutral sports fans)

From a Warriors perspective, we are hoping to build on last season and sustain ourselves for as long as possible with the shoestring budget.
