Riley was brought in on loan and not as a dual registration signing.

The limit for dual registrations is two. So it does appear Saints have decided to take Forster back - probably a knock on effect of their change of coach.
Riley was brought in on loan and not as a dual registration signing.
Thought it was 4 York had 2 from Hull and 2 from Warrington.

Its on the giants website too. i suppose it means that Carl Forster is back at Saints full time? With Walker,Hale and Riley are we at our limits for these type of signings?

I think the question is how many competent props do we want? As Mills is a massive waste of space, for me wingfield and gorski are 2nd rowers, iv always been a believer that Meekin had alot of potential but if anything id say hes got worse as the seasons progressed, seems to be following the Mills school of front row tactics i.e walk into the opposition then fall over and occasionally knock on in daft postitions for good measure. I hope he snaps out of it as hes shown glimmers of what hes capable of. That leaves Morrison, Riley, Walker, Meekin as a favoured front row. Massive shame about Forster, but good luck to him.
I think we were second best in the forwards battle until Walker and Riley came on. Then there was a visible difference in how many yards we were making!

I think your being a bit unfair on danny meekin yes it was probably his worse game this season but by no way as bad as you make out,at no point did he knock on infact his only mistake was having the ball ripped off him in the last couple of minutes by paul king. And also the point you make about walking into the opposition and falling over are way over exaggerated the fact is they have been practising finding the floor quickly to get an even quicker ptb (coaches instructions),watch the game again and you will see in the 20 odd minutes he was on he did as much work as the other props, approx 13 tackles 3 of which where kick chase where he tackled the york player within 10m of the york line ( not on his own may i add),9 drives 2 of which led to trys,4 missed tackles (which a number of the players where guilty of),1 mistake. So overall not to bad on a day when the team didnt fire on all cylinders due to the fact in my opinoin was off the back of 2 very tough games (fev & huddersfield)I think the question is how many competent props do we want? Are you danny meekin? haha as i mentioned I think hes got alot of potential, and clearly your stats show he did ok, but for me when im looking at a prop, I look how hard he runs at a line, and when you watch riley and walker (and forster, and dana last year, and wingfield) they run at the opposition with zero fear, as if they want to hurt the guys their running into, and doing it consistently. After all they are the ones who make the hard yards. We all know meekin's no slouch, hes darted through a few gaps this year but he was shying away before/when he hit the york line, and hes done that in a few games recently.

No im not danny meekin i wish i was that young and could still play rugby (or a relative),your right about the players you have mentioned but some coaches also like to have players in their team who dont charge in like a bull but players who find the floor and get a quick ptb so to catch the opposing team still retreating, im sure you will agree both types of players gets the yards the team needs one way or another.I just feel over the past couple of games meekin as been asked to change his game in my opinion that isAre you danny meekin? haha as i mentioned I think hes got alot of potential, and clearly your stats show he did ok, but for me when im looking at a prop, I look how hard he runs at a line, and when you watch riley and walker (and forster, and dana last year, and wingfield) they run at the opposition with zero fear, as if they want to hurt the guys their running into, and doing it consistently.
