I think from the brief spell we saw Green on the pitch he is quite capable of making SL but not if he carries that attitude with him he wont. He will play with all types of team mates so I think that is a very weak excuse and as far as Town are concerned it's his loss. Move on.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

He was outstanding on his debut against Featherstone on sunday, big and mobile and the Featherstone defence struggled to hold him.
May prove to be a real asset for us at Batley.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

Hi Guys,
Firstly congrats on your great season so far. Looking forward to a trip up to Workington next year.
James has played about 5 games for us (Batley) so far and done really really well. Strong, quick, and always looking to offload.
Defintely got a chance to make it at SL level if he continues to progress. He didnt play for us at the weekend as he was in Hull KR's 19 man squad last night, so doesnt look as if a first team shot is far away. Although it would be nice if we had him for the run in to the season at the same time!

He was on standby hence why not available for us. Think he ended up playing under 20's as obviously he didn't make the final squad.
Hopefully we'll have him available for a few more games.
