Eastern Rhinos 40 Northampton Demons 20.

Eastern Rhinos ran out comfortable winners but it could have been closer except for Northamptons handling errors in the final quarter of the pitch.

Most pleasing aspect for Rhinos was, due to a number of injuries and unavailability of players 3 players who have gone through our youth system from u14 stepped up from the under 18 squad into the seniors and put in excellant performances.

Bramley Buff's 26-v-22 St Albans Centurions.
Just got a text, 22-6 at half time to Bramley, fight back by Cents in second half, but not quite enough.

Not sure of final score but Outlaws lost about 40-10 at Kippax. Awful first half, but I think we won second half!

London league website has it as Elmsbridge 36 - Coventry Bears A 18

19th CS-SP1 Birmingham Bulldogs 0-60 Hammersmith Hill Hoists 19th CS-SP1 Eastern Rhinos A 40-20 Northampton Demons 19th CS-SP1 Elmbridge Eagles 36-18
Coventry Bears A

No Bedford result. - could it be a clean sweep for London and the SE ?

Leicester would hammer Bedford. Not a bad first game for our A team (we've had one game called off for weather and one bye week) even though we lost as Elmbridge away is a tough challenge. Birmingham look like they struggled

Looks like south premier is overall a better standard than midlands premier then (Bedford not being in) though suspect Leicester and Northampton wouldn't have much difficulty beating West London.

From Northamptons performance on saturday I believe over a season of home and aways they would hold their own in The Southern Premier. Like ourselves I believe they need the challenge and exposure of a bigger division and more varied opposition like a Southern Conference to develop.
