Puggy your opinion of Stanky is the view of most of the supporters regardless of our current league position.
I do believe that he has put together one of the best squad of players that have graced this club for a long long time, on a pittance of money.

Real supporters only care about results on the field and only real supporters follow the team win lose or draw.

And this thread started as...............odds?

Are you a real supporter, ornit4ever? Where do real supporters sit in the league table of support as opposed to true fans? Does it go on the number of away matches one attends or how many never missed in X number of years? It always fascinates me this terminology as I think of everyone as a supporter or a fan without any need for grading them!!!!!!!!!
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Going some what off topic, but this thread has been there and back twice over already  , but IMHO as O4E said "Real supporters only care about results on the field and only real supporters follow the team win lose or draw", I'd also add that they follow the results with a sence of joy when the team win and dissapointment when they don't, which may not apply to all who follow Hornets results.

This is all just my opinion, there are others. I can't remember who said "You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way and the only way, they don't exist" but I think it applies.

Thats exactly what I mean,we care passionately about the team and the results. We are over the moon when they win and look forward to the next game, but when we lose we are difficult to live with for a day or two.

The politics regarding the club and who's doing what is of secondary importance.
RUGBY LEAGUE WITHOUT ROCHDALE HORNETS IS LIKE AN UNSHARPENED PENCIL, THERES NO POINT?

I think I'll close this now as there is a game this weekend and we've gone about as far off topic as we can.

Let's look forward, it's the only way to go!!!!
