Should be decent weather and Fev should bring a few. I don't think any of us are daft enough to think we can win but can we get a bonus point? I think not being realistic. Any other opinions out there?

The way Fev are playing in the league, maybe a bonus point might be a possibility i still don't think there firing on all four cylinders at the minute, whether thats down to injuries or the aftermath of the challenge cup.......Hunslet will have to play well even against a 3 cylinder Fev.....good luck

A few beers in the sunshine by the bins outside the Phoenix Bar, listening to a tinny tannoy. Life doesn't get better!

Well a bonus point at least ought to the aim - whilst Featherstone have won all their away league games this season, they've let their opponents get the bonus point in every one of them.
For us it's about consistency ... and of course injuries. At Leigh last week we played some decent stuff in the first 20 and the last 20 minutes (which we won 10-0), and if we can extend that for the full 80 we should be able to stay close to them. However the 40 minutes either side of half-time (which we lost 30-0) were more akin to the what we saw at home to Batley and Swinton, and we'll be looking down the barrel of a 40-50 point hiding again.
Injury-wise I hope Tom Henderson is fit to take his place at half-back, he barely lasted the first set of six at Leigh before having to go off with a bang to his bonce, and while he came back on for 25-30 minutes of the second half it's unfair to make a judgement on him under those circumstances.

Huns need to show more bottle and get stuck in straight away , and play it like a cup tie , as they owe us a performance. Still don't expect to win mind you, but let's go for a bonus point at least. I am sure the Fev fans would rather see a hard fought close game , than a one sided too easy victory.

It won't be one sided I don't think

Not reallly this time. We need a morale boosting runaway victory if for no other reason than our points difference is poor due to the two scorelines of 60 points conceded at home against Sheffield and FaxI am sure the Fev fans would rather see a hard fought close game , than a one sided too easy victory.

We need to get Barry back in the stand shouting instuctions down to cassy from the off. It seems to gee up the players and get them motivated, unfortunatly this is something we have been lacking in the last few home games .

Look Phil today you beat us easy , and rightly so. But i was disapointed sitting alongside some of your fans today , You was always going to win this game.
Yes you brought us great revenue on the gate and thanks for that , but it's like nothing matters but your team, and some of your fans moaned all the time.
, and i did not enjoy sitting amongst your supportors today, you reminded me of Leigh fans away .
Still it's a shame you cannot get into Super league , because no room for all of you in that area with 2 other teams playing in the same area , like us in the past with Leeds Rhinos, i know you deserve to, but Wakefield and Cas sadly are there to stay.

Spot on robin those two clubs along with a few more in SL are in dire straights at the moment come 2014 im sure we wont be far away getting into SL .For the first time in a very long time i think we have got a realy good chance of getting in come 2014.

True, nothing else but Fev matters to Fev, just like nothing else matters to Hunslet fans but Hunslet.

I hope you do make it to the promised land, with the stands you've got to make the ground bigger, and everything Fev have been doing on and off the field, but as we've seen before with Redhall they have 2 fingers they like to show clubs once in a while......Good luckSpot on robin those two clubs along with a few more in SL are in dire straights at the moment come 2014 im sure we wont be far away getting into SL .For the first time in a very long time i think we have got a realy good chance of getting in come 2014.

Only Disallowing 3 tries the ref was trying his best to keep us in the game.

You should have said 3 of Hunslets"tries"--- I thought Dennis Tuffours second was perfectly good.

I hate to say it but fev won't be getting anywhere near super league any time soon... don't get me wrong I'm not having a go by saying tthat but Fev are not who they want in there so regardless of how well they're doing on and off the field I fear there are going to be a lot of disappointed flat cappers in the not too distant future!
