Cheers Nige, really enjoyed the game ( and the company ), shame commitments elsewhere meant that I had to miss the last ten though have to say that when Hilly got Acorn in for 22-16, I thought it was over. As I walked to the car Ben Pearson went in for Selby under the posts ( after that early missed tackle thought he had a very good game ).
Good advert for local RL again. Thought ref did well by and large and, I suppose, consistency wise, he had sent Acorn's 3 to the bin for 'slapping' early in second half. Would like to know what he saw wrong with Lightowler's breakaway try for Selby just after the break ? Looked OK from where we were..
