For the game tomorrow I will bring 6 spectators. I urge all Oldham fan to do the same. This is a critical period fo ror the club.Forget any poblems with CH or the way the club is run; points on the board is more important than petty squables about tax payments etc. Turn up , pay your £12 is the most positive thing you can do. Chmp 1 nest season is not an option. Wake up and smell the roses.
Dont you think that 13 years of playing the same tune is getting a bit stale by now ?????????/t

The only thing thats getting stale is listening to you and your ilk continually banging on about CH .Don't bother replying to this as I have better things to do with my life than reading the ramblings of some sad , bitter , twisted individuals hell bent on putting down the club at every opportunity . I will be going to Whitebank in the glorious sunshine to watch the Roughyeds today and taking in some Magic Weekend tomorrow ...sounds a bit better than staying home reading more of your drivel .Hope lots of other right-minded Roughyed supporters do the same .
Thank God for that. Perhaps we can criticise in peace now!

I saw what was happening weeks ago.No ideas,no plan A letalone plan B.Is it finally beginning to dawn; we're on a slow road to nowhere.
There are none so blind as those who will not see!
Poor coach, clueless owner.Poor stadium.Forget about stadium improvements, number 1 we'll no longer need them even if they were going to happen anyway.
Just go away Hamilton, very few people have anytime for you and your leadership 'qualities' anymore.
I hope the fans with the rose tinted specs on are going to see the light. The club is going to the dogs, crowds of 200 next season with trips to london bristol coventry and hemel.Take a bow CH you have single handedly made this great club nothing mroe than a joke.
I dont care for grief,i went today and thats the last time i will step foot in that hovel with that m,an in charge.
this is an SOS to anyone out there with money who cares for the club, start the ball rolling and get him OUT.

The club: Rugby -forget SL- at our level is a business ,ie you need revenue to be higher than costs for the club to survive. The revenue (don`t know about `grants` or the like) comes from fans.As has been said for years:where is the plan (and the resource to implement it) within the club to increase this revenue?Crowds are getting smaller ;the spectators are growing older;non-spectating fans are probably countable on 1 hand. The club`s financial strategy seems to be against any transparency in the hope that,at the last minute,`something` will come along (aka `taking from Peter to pay Paul`).Total responsibility for this is with Mr Hamilton.By ANY performance indicators you would use in a private business,he has failed :revenue generation, increase in fan base,fan/brand loyalty, failure to achieve business plan (promotion) .Even worse is the feeling of frustration in that you know that no-one will come along and `buy him out` and that we are stuck with him.His term here has been a disaster for the club I`ve supported for 45 years.
The team:yes,as others have said, they are trying. There is still the outline of a good side. But the main `game plan` they play to,which seems to be to run up the middle with the occasional spin/pass,is flawed as our forwards are smaller than the last set of teams we`ve played. As such, our weakness is played to their strengths.Secondly,we lack on-field leadership (Noone apart,in my opinion) to see when tactics need changing and to do it.This implies a Plan B and C,neither of which exist.Total responsibilty for such options is with the coach.Again,by any measures,Benson has failed-he is failing the players,he is failing the fans.
So,we have as our `leadership` 2 failures with a track record of failure.:feels to me as if they form a clique closed to outside intervention. We are playing `catch-up` (yet again) with promotion.Confidence across the players seems to be falling, which in itself causes basic mistakes, people not taking their responsibilities, heads to drop.
I am pessimistic about whether we can turn this round .Yes,I`ve supported ORLFC long enough to want to have faith (and to know that with Oldham anything (good or bad) can happen!!),but with these 2 in charge,it gets less and less, the (now) odd good performance apart.

As soon as soon stand still you are knackered.ORLFC under Mr Hamilton have stood still too long and are now going stale. The standing joke in our family, is that it would be hard for Oldham to avoid promotion this year.More so after Seeing the win at Derwent Park. However here we are.
Its in the blood to support Oldham .I have seen it where 10 of my family have been at Gateshead supporting This team.
However If I had the money to put into this club I would be looking at the situation with Mr Hamilton very carefully.I would not be confident of his transparency to be honest.I think he would need to go.This thing with Mr Quinn 2 or so years back only served to show Chris thinks like this.....
"Its my way or no way, oh and have you got 50k to pay the vat /wages Mr Quinn"
It's not just about CH though, I would also be looking at the whole sporting situation around this town and banging heads together, the council, the Latics etc etc.
