We were due to play Wath Brow at the weekend when we recieved a phone call saying the bus had broken down in the middle of nowhere , Was just wondering what the procedure for things like this happening are ?? ie is the Game to be replayed ? Do dockers take the 2 Points , Do Wath Brow have to show evidence of this breakdown to the league?? as a few people have suggested to me it seems a bit suspicious with it been "Magic Weekend"!
I for one am not suggesting this is the case But would like to think their is procedures in place for it not to happen and to stop people suggesting this ?? .

The most simple & logical thing to do is for the league to receive evidence that the bus broke down from the recovery company.

I believe that there is a set procedure in place for this type of incident.
Its nice to be important, but never forget its important to be nice!!!

Appendix 5 of the Operational Rules lays down a list of requirements relating to such an event.I believe that there is a set procedure in place for this type of incident.

Pretty much what I heard.
Kick off was going to be pushed to 4pm but Dockers couldnt kick off then due to those wanting to go to the Hull Derby.
Given the difficulties Wath faced getting down to Hull I'd be asking questions about the sportsmanship shown by Dockers.

You should get correct facts before writing lies. wath brow set off with a full squad the same which beat leigh east the week before. the bus broke down and a replacement sent to penrith. we then contacted hull dockers explaining that we would not be at their ground until 2pm or just after depending on hull traffic and requested the match be put back to 3 pm to allow hornets to get changed and warm up. it was hull dockers decision not to play the match as they would not put kick off back 30 minutes as THEY were going to watch hull verse hull kr. so hull dockers are to blame for match not being played as wath brow were on route to play. these are the facts

Ha ha i agree Exile
as for Hornets Nest, spoke to the Dockers Coaches yesterday at training and they recieved a phone call from Wath Brow telling they have broken down and that they could make it for a 5.30pm Kick off, That is why the game was eventually called off.

Harrison need to get facts straight. we were at york when told to turn round as dockers could not put game back 30 minutes and the dockers coach said that the buses were leaving the club at 430 for the players and families. sounds to me that dockers just did not want to play as they had a weakened side. i am sure all the brow players and supporters were please to waste a full day travelling to york and back because they did not want to play. have a word with yourself . The wasted bus journey not only cost the club in bus rental but a lot of the players and supporters work shifts and had taken the day off
