The number of fixtures in this league is a joke. The seasons nearly over!

Anyone remember about twenty years ago when York postponed a match about an hour before kick off due to a water logged pitch? Was not impressed..I think it will be a close game but would like to think we will win.As someone has already stated the weather could be influential.

Just to let you guys know the Knights reserves match tonite against Fev was called off the Ref called it 1/2hour before K/off,peopleAnyone remember about twenty years ago when York postponed a match about an hour before kick off due to a water logged pitch? Was not impressed..
not happy Ref said water filled holes on pitch, hopefully the pitch will be in a better state for Sundays game, forecast better for weekend, all knights fans are looking forward to this game we will have players available from long layoffs and some new blood,we have not been playing badly against Fev,Leigh,Halifax,Sheffield we should have won,and Batley, but the young guns just run out of powder,we will be up for this one.

We drove to odsal and thought sod that and went home! There is,unbelievably, talk on the York forum of fox damage to the pitch and with this unrelenting rain Ill be keeping a close eye on things before I set off on Sunday.I do Mark. We ended up, if I recall correctly, going to watch Bradford v Leigh which ended up 4-0 and I ended up with a frozen left side of my face as the weather was atrocious and howled in from one side all game. Should have gone t'pub!
