greengrass, i think that the break will have done york more favours than us, considering they have a lot returning from injury whereas we were in good form and few injuries,i think the factor to take into account is that we are playing away!

Well if game goes ahead it will be heavy conditions and according to the York forum the pitch will be in pretty rough condition anyway - this plus the fact that they seem to have a stronger team than in recent weeks should all add up to a tough game for us - but as previously said this is a game we should win - the York forum seems to be well confident for their first win of the season, so all to play for - 26 to18 for the lions, not bothered about the bonus point to them

The games on there has been people working on the pitch for a few days plus yesterday was very windy which will have helped dry the pitch, should be a good game with us getting our first win of the season hopefully.

Sorry Mark, only just seen your post. I think that John and the boys have answered your question. The ground staff are, as far as I know, aware of the pitch problems and the nocturnal visitor that digs holes so I cant imagine that the pitch will not have been checked and sorted for today.
