Think you will find all of them will have come the start of the season, all fits in with the plan.

Yeah I reckon once over half of clubs have put their name forward the rest would go across en masse to be left behind. They'd get a better run league and closer games out of it.Think you will find all of them will have come the start of the season, all fits in with the plan.

Your remarkable run of wrong guesses continues....Yeah I reckon once over half of clubs have put their name forward the rest would go across en masse to be left behind. They'd get a better run league and closer games out of it.
The 4 NCL A teams won't be moving to the Pennine any day soon.
There's at least 6 other teams staying, enough for 1 division.

Perhaps for one more season. But are the 6 all prepared to play in a 10 team league? Also won't the NCL clubs eventually need to decide summer or winter for both open age teams together? Though guess Normanton and Eastmoor have a good solution to that by playing both.Your remarkable run of wrong guesses continues....

I take it Pennine player eligibility rules prevent the A teams switching. Not sure the other 6 will have the same desperation to stay if the league is unequal.

If a league had at least 5 teams that failed to complete their fixtures and had 47 non-fulfilled fixtures, would you consider it well run? They'd get a better run league and closer games out of it.

Over a 9 division Pennine League that's not bad.If a league had at least 5 teams that failed to complete their fixtures and had 47 non-fulfilled fixtures, would you consider it well run?

Hunslet Old Boys moved to the pennine league from the Yorkshire league because teams were letting us down everyweek, some teams do av a lull in the seasons, what with injuries and people leaving......look at Queens there 2nd team folded and there first team were ready to pack it in,struggleing for players and look how they turned it round Barla Nat Cup winners,2nd in league.........by fineing the clubs dose'nt always work either......If a league had at least 5 teams that failed to complete their fixtures and had 47 non-fulfilled fixtures, would you consider it well run?

Anyone know which 6 are committed to the Yorkshire League aside from the 4 NCL A teams? Take it that means 4 sides are undecided.

Say's in todays League Express that Brotherton, Kellingley, Nevison Leap and a reformed Knottingley Rockware will all be applying to join the Pennine League.

8 teams at least switching leaving the Yorkshire League with 11 remaining sides (plus or minus new and folding sides). Wouldn't be surprised if Bentley went as well to join the other Doncaster clubs.Say's in todays League Express that Brotherton, Kellingley, Nevison Leap and a reformed Knottingley Rockware will all be applying to join the Pennine League.
KRS have entered the short summer season this year but can understand why Pennine is better

Yorkshire league didn't want our 2nds last season so they played friendly games because it was to late to join the Pennine.
10 team division = 18 league games + Yorkshire league cup games, Local cups, Yorkshire cup & National cup, that will give a mimimum of 22 games which can be extended with a Yorkshire league & local league continuation cups, the more successful will also have the top 4's to play.

Clubs switching to the Pennine will strengthen the game in the winter,

The best case scenario is an 8 team Castleford and Wakefield league. And that includes 4 NCL A teams, 2 of which ran teams in the summer but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt they'll stay winter plus the 4 I haven't heard (Chequerfield, Kinsley, Crofton and Ryhill). Though wouldn't be surprised if some of them are switching?

I wouldn't be surprised if Ryhill and Kingsley join up again.

Apparently Crofton have been accepted into the Pennine League.
