Do you know what division brov are going in yet dan

No, not yet mate. It's all changed this year supposedly. The Pennine League committee come out and watch you play in a couple of trial games and then decide which division to put in from watching these games so we'll have to wait and see.

I expect the Pennine committee are still interviewing clubs, We may even find ourselves not being promoted because of the standard of some of the clubs applying.
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.<div align='center'></div>

Member clubs have till August 1st to enter a second team so the structure will probably not be confirmed till after this date.

All the Pennine committe go to watch different teams play every week, probably another reason why they are more in touch with their teams than the Yorkshire league.

I think they are going to be running a merit style league as well.

constitution/handbook whatever you want to call it. when queens applied the general consensus was that the member clubs would vote against their entry. the committee overruled this and allowed them in, with the proviso that ALL new applicants would be vetted by the committee then, put forward at the AGM for the existing member clubs to vote on their entry to the league.
so, whats more than likely happened is that these clubs have applied to join the league but will have to wait for the AGM to find out if they get in.

Both Donny teams have been told they are in, one had to pay the Yorkshire league £200 and the other £400 in back fines for one reason or other.

19 new clubs have joined the Pennine League. Not got a full list but it includes Hollinwood (from NWCL), Knottingley Rockware Stolze (from summer) and Troydale plus anything up to 16 Yorkshire League sides (maybe one or two applicants aren't?). Would guess everyone from Yorkshire League is switching bar Fryston and the NCL A teams looking at that. Though not heard about Chequerfield and Ryhill.

Think you will find a big chunk of the Knottingley side are ex Selby.

I'd assumed they'd be Kellingley - are they merging or are both teams playing Pennine next year?

Sensible for Hollinwood - the big issue for NWC would be that without lots switching back there might be major differences in standards between the sides given some are from last years Prem/Div 1 and some Div 6. Condensed to a division, or more likely two, it might have been very tough going!

It's only the same problem the RLC have had over the years and they seem to have got over it.

Only by having ridiculously small divisions and they've still always had problems

Could be some good afternoons to be had over that way then if Kellingley continue to play adjacent to Knottingley's famous Sleepy Valley pitch.
