A select Cutsyke Raiders team will host this years annual charity memorial game against the Royal Artillery RL.

It is the 3rd game in honour of former Cutsyke player Bombardier Craig Hopson, who was killed in action in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in July 2009.
The first 2 games went the way of the army regiment with an 18-16 win at Castleford, followed by an 23-22 win at the Stoop last year.

The match is on Friday 8th June k.o 6.30pm at Green Lane, Cutsyke, Castleford WF10 5JL

There's a large 30 prize raffle in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund, but its Free Entry to the game

Being an Ex-Gunner I'll try my best to get down. (Was it Craig who had his ashes fired into the night sky in a firework)
Carlsberg don't do Soldiers, but if they did, they would probably be Brits.<div align='center'></div>

No, that was the young lad that played for Morley RU.
I think 'George' - being a master of dark humour- would say being fired into the sky once was enough for anyone. :excl:

See you down there if you make it, should be a good contest
