Hope you didn't get too wet BR.
The heavy drizzle throughout had an effect on the play, how did it affect the speccies?. I guess a few tots of the strong medicine were needed!
With a shuffled round side out Storm came close in the end to stealing that one.
Tigers, despite their more regular side and coming on the back of a good winning streak never got a comfortable way in front.
Good to see Manu back and Vave playing so well too.
Tigers did enough, just, on the day to win this one. They nearly came away with egg on their faces though.
Storm despite looking disjointed at times came close to upsetting the odds.
I noticed Bellyache wasn't too pleased with the soft kick option taken in Storm's last move of the game.
The big block of rounds affected by byes and Origin matches certainly makes tipping and managing Fantasy teams hard.

As the commentary team stated Storm missing the 3 amigos are gonna struggle.
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if its late.

Heavy drizzle ? Try fine drenching rain that never stopped & got into everything
Even the cameraman's assistant came & sat in a drier spot in the stands for a large part of the game
Considering that both the Tigers tries came from Storm errors in VERY close attacking range I was a tad angry at the obvious love affair the Nine commentary team appears to have with the West Tigers ?
Get tired of having that Big Three ###### thrown up all the time.
A game lost through inexperience & poor play options.
I'm staying clear of 'calls by officals'

The Tigers look very ordinary at times. If they are gonna do anything this year, they need to be performing better than that. And is it just me, or should Lote Tuqiri start thinking about retirement?

Widdop is growing as a player there and he is taken the lead in training alongside Hoffman and he will be a quality player in 5 years or so and had another decent game whilst others at the Storm wont be missed when they leave (Kelly for example). The holy trinity are the brains and the creative force of the Storm. Them missing onviously played a big role. Tigers again flatter to deceive and would have expected a bigger Storm loss to be honest. The match officials are as useless as ever and I honestly feel that the 2 Refs on the field hasnt made any difference in the poor standards being regularly shown.

We'll see how Luke performs against us when we play 'the slippery suckers'
As for the TigPies ? spots 2 through 6 are on 18 points,(Cronulla,(16) & Brisbane,(18) still to play),whilst Melbourne still have the 6 point buffer & a 205 point differential - Handy.
I think Melbourne need to start rotating their spine to give the replacements more game time.
