Warrington v Leeds: Is this the game with the most revolting kits taking part or what?

Oldham shirt around 93. red diamonds on white background. Looked like someone had flicked a red felt tip at it.
In the First 48.....

It really annoys me how so many clubs totally ignore heritage and tradition. Leeds colours are blue and amber so why do they keep wearing that hideous pink and grey kit for all away games, even when there is no colour clash. In fact, last night's game was a horrendous colour clash when it need not have been !!!!!

I presume the charity must have been the RNIB.

Yeah if the shirts are for a good cause then i couldn't care less if they were pink with yellow spots. Town have got a pink and purple one for the haven game in aid of charity and I for one will be buying it.
the futures bright, the futures blue and white

Would you like a white, yellow, blue and chocolate shirt then?

No intention of making fun of what warrington are trying to do, but commenting on the way organisations seem to think they have to do it.
Can't the fund raising be potentially more succesful with attractive traditional shirts than down right eyesores?
Maybe i am missing someting but good on them for raising funds for charity

Charity shirts, ghastly or not they have got you all talking about them... = Job Done by the relevant clubs marketing team.
Many people did not like the Green & Black offers from Hornets (probably because we always lost in it?) but as tradition goes this is a shirt in as traditional colours as you can get.
I wonder if the marketing team at Hornets have looked at the Challenge Cup winning shirt fro 1922 and thought about updating the design and getting it sponsored with O'Neills? Maybe using it as an away shirt next season with some words under the club badge stating why its being worn? Im sure it would be a big seller?
I seem to remeber Bradford Bulls doing this in there 2007 centenary, and most NRL sides have a Heritage shirt every season. Just an idea and also the RL shirt anoraks may want to buy one for a collection? Like the springhill shirt from last year?

Brilliant idea about the Challenge Cup winning shirt. I agree, it would sell really well.

I'm afraid that has already been done. In the Goulding era the club sold some really excellent cotton shirts in the wide Red, White and Blue hooped design together with the black embroidered badge.

Puggy i am on about for the players to wear on the pitch, updated, sponsored and for sale in the club shop. I am aware a few fans had some made up a few years back. Maybe the club could source one and get it to O'Neills and see what they can do with it? The swarm tag kit has a look of the Challenge Cup final shirt as well.

That version of the 1922 shirt is historically incorrect. There was a white hoop in between each red and blue hoop.
So if the club is going to do a replica, then they should at least make it accurate. I think it would be a great thing for the club to a 90 year anniversary jersey.
