Until Malta versus Denmark begins.
The 12th ranked country in the RLEF at home to the number 20th playing their first full recognised international. However, it was as one-sided as that would suggest, they would not be bothering to play.

As one who is old enough to remember that the only possible teams that were in existence to compete in the World Cup were Aus, GB, France and New Zealand, every time I see fixtures such as this one taking place, I am in awe of how far Rugby League has progressed since those days of my youth.
I don t know if it s the removal of the ban on RU players playing RL or if it s from more exposure of the game via TV etc that is responsible. Whatever it is long may it continue. Good luck toboth teams.

Bit of both, plus a lot of work by enthusiasts.

A good came and congratulations to the Maltese. On paper, this was predictable, but the Danes were confident of a win. The hospitality was wonderful.
The return match will be interesting though, the Danes will not wither in the Copenhagen heat.

Well done to Choc (Nathony Micallef) who has a couple of teams now playing the game on the small rocky island. Its been tough but the results are coming through now. Choc also has a Tag Rugby event organized for September so if anybody is on the islands in September go and check it out
