Elliot was outstanding, never shirks a high ball and runs out strongly, Nicklas also very good and looks a useful signing, admittedly Tansey had best game but still long way short of the old JT who played for the Rhinos and can't help thinking he goes missing at times in games, made a couple of crucial tackles as well. If he can continue the form he showed in patches for the whole game then think fans would get behind him as he has the skills and showed good acceleration to set up the last try, maybe confidence is still lacking.

I too would have given Tansey your man of the match.
He helped create your first two tries and your last try as well as pulling off a try saving tackle on Dale Cunniffe midway though the second half which could have stretched the Lions lead even more.
Your new scrum half looked good at times too so hope you can keep him fit.
All the best for the rest of the season and hope the pitch gets better soon !

I believe he actually made the last pass for all York's tries, except the last, but his run actually set that one up.I too would have given Tansey your man of the match.

Tansey should've got it - he deserved it and it would've given him that boost in confidence he needs to really lift his game. Press gave him it anyway.
DR players should be excempt from MoM on the day and in the Press, I think it sends the wrong message to the rest of the squad
In my opinion of course
