Well that's the first game I've seen since the Halifax game and got to say I really enjoyed it.
Thought it was a good end to end game, which the Knights just about deserved their win despite the aweful display by Hewer.
One thing that is very noticable is that even though the side had not won a game there still seems to be a good team spirit in the side, which is credit to CT.
We played some good rugby with ball in hand but we still look very poor in defence, our line defence is terrible, as it is out wide in the centres and wings.
Man of the match was without doubt Davies thought he was terrific through out. King was excellent too as was the hard working Sully, and Freer. Nice to see Wayne Pryce back, he gets us moving forward from the wing. Young Dan at scrum half had a more than decent game, he's got good hands and also a fine passing game getting the forwards running onto the ball.
Jordan Tansey was taking a fair bit of stick where I was stood but to be fair I thought the lad did ok and his two try saving tackles late on in the game really did win us the 3 points in the end, come on guys give the bloke a bit of credit when it's due.
A good win, really nice to see the players celebrating it at the end with the fans.
The big highlight of the game though without doubt was the sight of Lionel sticking the boot into the advertising boards, worth the admission alone.....priceless.
Well done Knights, bit pat on the back to CT and the lads.

I am a Swinton fan who went to the game today and Tansey was your best player today, the amount of times he joined the line and cause us problems I lost count. I thought he ran the show more than Thorman and he linked in the line nearly every set. Well done today

Thought it was going to be 38 - 30 at one time both teams were not too bad going forward but the defences were very poor, though the ref was poor for both teams giving tries that should never have been allowed, Yorks last one there were two foward passes but ill take it because a couple of Swintons should never have stood, well done onwards and upwards.

Glad you enjoyed the game today, some nice rugby at times, think my observations in response to your post last week were not too far short of the mark, great committment, for me still lacking fitness and that shows in the line defensive speed, we much also need to be much quicker to get up and play the quick ball, all other teams this season have been better than us at this, also we should turn players on their backs in the tackle, slow it down a bit.

Great effort by all 16 yesterday, think we have all earnt that victory, support
and noise was brilliant. Press give Tansey MOM which I can't argue with.
A mention for Nathan Freer, a couple of people on here seem to make a life out
of having a go at Nathan, thought he had a really good game & you always get 100% with
him which is all these same people keep saying is what we need.

Think your observations were spot on Andy, the big thing that showed up for me was our line speed was poor and also the defensive line looks like a dogs hind leg. The fitness is still short but there was also to be fair some excellent scrambling defence late on.
Still a wins a win and it's something to build on, it wasn't as bad as I feared to be honest.
