Does anyone at the club update the website any more, last time anything was put on was 10th May,i know Daniel 's not there to do it now,but someone at the club could do it.Most clubs update their website every two, three days at our level, while super league club update every day.We are in the middle of the season,so it's a busy time of the year for us.Come back Daniel !!!

The site which shall not be named does daily updates and has a you tube video of low-lights from the Fev game. Any observant follower can spot exactly what is wrong with the defence and which players are the main culprits.Does anyone at the club update the website any more, last time anything was put on was 10th May,i know Daniel 's not there to do it now,but someone at the club could do it.Most clubs update their website every two, three days at our level, while super league club update every day.We are in the middle of the season,so it's a busy time of the year for us.Come back Daniel !!!

I've have just watched the video 'highlights' from the Fev game and the defence was shocking. The sliding defence just doesn't work when it is used all the time. The defence just slides across and no effort is made to tackle and the attacker can just step inside and he is away.

You're only a supporter - what do you expect?

We have stated this before but being out of the area we rely upon fans forum for our information as since Daniel has left nothing seems to get posted on the web site. Can someone try if only once a week to keep all Rams fans from out of the area up to date with the latest news

Simple.
The club as per usual are probably discussing name changes or ways to attract new fans whilst hoping we all just continue supporting irrespective of the fact the club stinks of unprofessionalism and a could care less attitude.

They might of course be busy doing their day jobs !
Whilst many clubs provide regular feedback to their fans, i dont recall anywhere that fans/season ticket holders or even curious bystanders have any right to demand information from the club
P.S. Im not for one second saying that this isnt disenfranchising supporters of the club.

You have a gtood point John, the website is not a mandatory part of any sports club, and to be honest, I tend to rely on the local rags and this forum for any developments. Maybe there are some club employees not involved on the playing front, who might be persuaded to do the job - Michael Wainwright springs to mind.

Good point.
But the website is like the shop front of the club for many people.
Even local amateur clubs have pitchero to update their small followers. It's not about a demand for information, it's about keeping things professional and keeping fans and potential fans informed and in the loop so to speak.

Doesn't this all come under the aegis of marketing John, which any sensible business would concentrate upon in these straightened times?

You are both right of course, but i know that Daniel was responsible for most of what did get done so i have no idea who if anybody has replaced him.
Perhaps someone should approach the club via more formal channels offering to keep the website updated (on a voluntary basis of course)
As ive mentioned earlier, i have google alerts for Dewsbury Rams news and although not everything is directly related to the rams, there is a steady trickle of information out there if you look hard enough.

NEWS UPDATE
According to Steve Crossley's write up in the reporter :
WJ is doing a fantastic job
players are behind him 100%
Rams will make the play-offs
The loyal rams fans are fantastic.
Liam Finn Breaks Barry Eatons world record for consecutive goal-kicks with another 10 out of 10 against Keighley last night taking his tally to 41.
(Summarising of course)

No mention of this on the BBC Sports RL website. I notice. And not even a mention of the Featherstone vs Keighley score under NRC results.
Perhaps the Rams could share costs of updating their website by a job-share with the Beeb.

Finn's record has just been on Look North. Seems to be a common dominator with these good kickers - they have played for Dewsbury. There is a positive there but i can't quite put my hands on it!

Kickers abilities are often over looked, but the reality is points add up. Finn was always one of my favourite Dewsbury players, what happened with him? I mean, did he want to stay/go or was he dropped? I can;t remember.

He was offered more money at Featherstone. He wasn't dropped that's for sure. I'm sure many players would rather go to Featherstone than stay at Dewsbury. Their name fits more than ours.
