IMO if we had a fully fit squad we would give Halifax a tough game.

The reality is we don’t have that squad at the moment and our priority is to win CP1 which looks a real possibility.

The best thing that can happen is we win and don’t pick up any injuries.

The worst thing is we loose big style and do pick up injuries.

In between that and thinking positive we give a great performance and don’t pick up any further injuries.

Fax think it will be a walkover.

I don’t.

Barrow Raiders never give up.

Also its always a great day out in t' Yarkshire ,Fax fans always make us welcome so everyone get on the bus.

C'mon you Raiders

I don't think as a club we should want to win it. We're never going to win the cup. I know its money in the coffers, but it's also games we don't want.

Don't agree with you there FB.

Our team mentality is Always to Win, whoever the opponents. And never loose that focus.

Money in the coffers would be an additional bonus methinks.

It would be nice to beat Fax but in reality I dont think we have the players to beat them at the moment but good luck to the team and lets give em a game.

If the tie was at Craven park and we had our full squad available I think we couldve done them...just.

Lets concentrate on getting the league leaders shield and then go on and win the C1 Grand Final.

Fax top of Championship, a league above showing excellent form.

Raiders down to basic seventeen due to injury crisis.

Raiders unknown young imports who have never played with the Raiders team before.

Fax playing at home, more local support.

Bigger and more experienced squad, no one under the age of nineteen!

Many Fax players have tasted recent cup glory.

Scary no nonsense Karl Harrison as coach.

Hey, I hope I'm wrong but if I was a Fax fan that's what I would be thinking ;)

We need to play a game of this calibre!
Yes we might get some knocks, so what, you can get them playing anyone! (Each game as it comes).
Its a pay day for the club and probably not a lot to pay out for a change!
We are in a very strong position at the moment and can afford to loose a few and still be up there!
If we were fighting for 4th place it would be more of a problem.
Also we are only playing 18 league games this season. Next year there will many more and a lot tougher
so we had better get used to it as this is going to one of those games!

I never questioned the teams mentality, I said as a "club" I don't think we want to win it. A teams mentality should never be to lose a game. No matter what the circumstance is, but as a club wanting to gain auto promotion with top spot extra games are the last things we want.

Fair enough but it sounded like you thought we were in "country mile" mode. ;)
