Rams 18 - 28 'Fax

I hope we get a good crowd, anything over 1000 would be a help.

I am not able to share Steve Crossley's confidence for this one and I don't think the conditions will favour us, except, perhaps, to reduce Halifax's score.

Dewsbury 10 - Halifax 38

Att: 1043
Legs, Dews, Legs, 'cos Wigan do!

Very unlucky, really did think you had us when Austin went racing away but somehow we managed to claw back, a draw would have been more appropriate. If you'd have been a bit more clinical in that opening 10 when you had us penned down on our line I think you'd have been in a much more commanding position and probably have taken the win. But anyway good luck with your next game.

Inept refereeing again from Sharrad and digusting video ref decision.....he tried every excuse to disallow the try that would have spurred you on; Then controversy when the Rams should have been allowed advantage after the Buchanan run; ROBBED...I am a neutral;

You were unlucky tonight if you had scored under the posts when you ran 80 m who knows or the ref sent the fax player off for professional foul

Play like that for the rest of the season and you will win more than you loose well done

Fully agree Phil. I'm a Batley fan (obviously) and I hve to say, that game was Rams but was robbed from them by way below par officiating!

Not one to criticise refs but I do wonder whether the sin bin for professional foul has been abandoned.

Fantastic effort from the Rams, Fax edged it but that what you get when you have Fax's playing budget.

Thought Crossley was absolutely outstanding, the best player on the field.

I might be wrong and correct me if I am but wasn't this the same ref that imposed the technical foul rule at Leigh last week when he sent Black from the field for ten...if so its all the more baffling;

I too went to the game last night, well played Rams, I haven't seen the video replays yet, don't think you were robbed just unlucky. Your forward's were way better than Fax's bar Barlow who was strong.
Don't understand Fax fans giving Handforth a hard time on their message board's thought he was their best player, Thackery on the hand was totally usleless I didn't realise he was on the pitch till mid second half. A gritty win for Fax but good show from the Ram's.
