I hope you don't mind us posting on your board.

My business partner and I have relatively recently taken over The Junction Inn, half a mile east of Oldham town centre very close to Oldham's traditional home of Watersheddings and we are the match sponsors for this Sunday's game against Hornets.

We are both big Roughyeds fans and have adorned the walls with club memorabilia, but we, along with the home fans that frequent the pub, are also very keen to make it a welcoming place for away fans to join us for some rugby related chat and banter and accordingly we would like to invite any Hornets fans travelling to this game, to join us.

As well as running trips to Oldham away games, we run free return mini-buses down to all home games including youth and reserves, and any Hornets fans wishing to park at the pub and hop on board with us for this game are more than welcome to do so, as is anyone coming to Oldham by public transport. All we ask is that you let us know beforehand (0161 633 2759) so as we can lay on the correct size of vehicle(s). Coach/minibus parties are also very welcome though again we ask that you let us know in advance so that we can properly staff the bar. We open at noon.

Sadly, the commercial kitchen we are in the process of installing will not be ready in time for this fixture but we do sell pies and the usual bar snacks and there are a multitude of takeaways within a minutes walk which you're welcome to bring in. We can provide plates and cutlery.

There is plenty of free parking very close to the pub, feel free to contact us for more precise information. The free bus to the game will leave the pub at 2pm in order to allow time for a pre-match pint in the club bar (they call last orders 30 minutes before kick off), and it will return immediately after the game, but coach/minibus parties are of course welcome to manage their own departure times.

For any fans intending to travel by public transport, the 83 bus (to Sholver) from Oldham bus station stops right outside the pub and is a pretty frequent service, even on a Sunday.

Real ale fans will be pleased to note that we stock a local ale called Dobcross Bitter, brewed just down the road in Greenfield.

We look forward to possibly seeing some of you on Sunday.

Cheers
