He's playing for us on the wing this evening,Batley didn't want him for some reason. Lets see how long he lasts.

The reason being breach of disciplinary code. Should be an interesting meeting of minds with him and "Yer Know".Batley didn't want him for some reason.

Rumours are that Ash Lindsay might be next to cross the valley. Very unhappy chappy at present it would seem.

Players generally are unhappy when they aren't getting in. I think John Kears is starting to mould a squad he wants. Daley is a good player when fit. Heard he was problematic in training but Wozza's brand of discipline might suit him.
As for Ash. He has been fantastic for us but gone off the boil a bit this year. I would like to see him stay with us, but a career is short and if he isnt getting game time.

That's the problem when you have a squad full of super stars - how do you keep them all happy!!!
Seriously though, this issue is bound to arise every season nowadays, at I believe, most clubs. Where there is no reserve team and only a certain number make up the match day squad, then those on the outside receive no match payments. Unless they are in receipt of guaranteed money, of a decent amount per month, then they are going to become disillusioned with turning up for training x times per week with no financial reward. So, does the coach keep a relatively settled squad, injuries permitting, and have unsettled players on his hands, or does he change the team each week just to keep 25 people happy?

I liked Williams when he was at Keighley, I reckon he is a good signing. He is a centre though - not really a winger, so I'd like to see him there with Faal, Esders moved into the pack to partner spicer, and Wainwright recalled (if he is still with us - or is he on the naughty step for some reason ?).

Thought Williams was poor. Looked ineffectual with the ball. Bring back Wainwright.

Bit harsh wr. the lad has only been with us for a couple of training sessions, probably take him a week or two to settle inThought Williams was poor. Looked ineffectual with the ball. Bring back Wainwright.
When I want your opinion, I will remove the gaffer tape

Exactly. It doesn''t say much for Smith, Scott and Wainwright when someone comes straight in. And it's not like he looked like a world beater.

think enough is enough picking on the lad
he's just come in from batley..yeah bound to get the usual treatment...but !!!
hes played 1 game at short notice and personally if he would have had the worst game ever,it would have been better than
smith...shocker at fev..and not for the first time...least he tackled did williams.
the boys played well thursday apart from 3 basic errors that resulted in tries for fax & reffing that defies comprehension from clit sharrod.
shame the halfbacks dont get shunted out more...rest would do them both good !!!!!!!!

Is Greg Scott still with us?

BOLD text dont make it any more valid coolie,
He didnt do enough for me, certainly not to replace the guys we have in that position.
If our half backs would take the ball to the defensive line more often we wouldnt have needed the ref to do his job.
Great performance by the backs and the forwards, same old same old from the half backs in my opinion.

I can see why he was tried on the wing. He lacks the all round skills that you expect from a top centre, but is a determined finisher. Stick him at centre and he will defend well, score tries, and is something of a ball steal expert. Provided that you don't expect quality service to the winger he'll do you a very sound job. I'm sorry to see him leave MP.
