Thanks to all at Bissa for a great night yesterday. Lea Roberts was worth the entrance fee alone!! Anyone who didn't go should really make the effort to come next year!!

An excellant night and the main thing being plenty of funds raised for team strengthening.
Numbers well up on previous years perhaps people are starting to realize that if we want
a decent team we all have to do our bit.Lets hope it's even bigger next year after all it is
our biggest fund raiser of the year.

Thanks for the comments bulldog17 and Rodders. It was a brilliant evening inside the building, but the weather was not so good outside. There were 122 there, the best yet, on a night when you could have expected a few no shows. Both Karl Kirkpatrick and Lea Roberts were not only good company but absolutely top quality entertainers. Lea Roberts was, as you say, worth the entrance money alone. Great humour, pitched absolutely spot on for the audience, and heleft me with the words, and I quote,"Best night for a long time, enjoyed it immensely, great food, great company and a brilliant audience".He has left with a very good impression of BISSA and the BULLDOGS.
Without a doubt, he WILL be back.
To all the DIRECTORS, JOHN KEAR and DAWN,PLAYERS and WIVES, SUPPORTERS CLUB, BATLEY BOYS, and everyone else who attended, a MASSIVE MASSIVE thank you .
Plus the staff at the Lakeside restaurant--you are quality--Thank you.

Next year will be our 10th DInner, so we will be planning something special, get your bookings in early , once we have announced the details, as it is sure to be popular.

On a personal note, on this a public forum , I would like to thank every single committee member for an outstanding effort, the rewards for which were evident last night.

Remember---TO MAKE THE DREAMWORK YOU NEED THE TEAMWORK.---and BISSA have it in spades.
