Good, tight game down at St Albans yesterday. Another "near miss" for the Sonics, but an improved performance in many regards. First half the Centurions were the better team, and in the second the Sonics hit back hard. With a bit more composure we could have scored more and taken the win. To be fair, though, the Centurions goal line defence was very good.

Thanks to all the Cents volunteers and club officials for their great hospitality. Very nice to meet Exiled Townie and others from off here. Neither team has enjoyed an amazing season to date, so it's nice to see everyone at both clubs is in great spirits about their CL3 experience :)

Bramley 26 Coventry 16.
It was good of the players to turn out for the referees show.
Bears gained a point which looked unlikely for a while.
Injuries are really taking a toll now.

Don't get the comments about turning up for referees show. Officials were best I've seen in 18 games I've watched this season. Coventry's insistence on continually infringing - holding down, facails, head high tackles & flops severely tested refs patience. Best team on day won.
How many interchanges are allowed I counted 14 for Coventry.

Unlimited interchanges. Surprised your knowledge didn't know that. To be fair to the referee he was pretty consistent.

Nice to give a ref the thumbs up it doesn't happen often. Theres few that appear to be aware of unlimited interchanges you learn something new everyday. Bears certainly used unlimited to the full potential - at least it gives subs a chance some were on and off like a fiddlers elbow. Best of luck with bid to go semi pro in 2013/14 personally I never lIked Oxford.

Good to meet you and PhilC as well. Funny old game, not a classic by any means, but I found it quite exciting and enjoyed watching it. can you let you lads know there are photos from the game on our website if they are interested.

St Ives Roosters v Milton Keynes Wolves - cancelled as MK couldn't raise a side

Bury Titans v Bedford Tigers - cancelled as Bury couldn't raise a side.

So Roosters and Tigers re-arranged.

Roosters 54 Tigers 35

Sounds like a repeat of their "performance" at Hemel the week before. With infinite interchanges I'm amazed that so many Coventry players went down with cramp at that game.

Don't write the Bears off yet. We are really suffering with injuries this year. For the games at Hemel and Bramley we have been missing a lot of players. We had 10 first choice players unavailable on Sunday and 8 last week.
There is light at the end of the tunnel and we will have more players back in the next couple of weeks.
Added to the injuries it should be taken into account that of the 7 games we have played 5 have been away from home!
